Arrangements for the trip are nearing completion. The group have had three meetings commencing before Christmas with a meet at Gargunnock at which Mike Barron the Fellowship Exchange coordinator informed the group as to the general arrangements. Martin was elected team leader, based on his experience on the recent exchange with New Zealand. A second meeting at Martin and Kay's at Newport on Tay, saw more details come to hand and uniforms, badges, cards and gifts being organised. A third and final meeting was held in March at Iain and Marjory's in Dunblane where the presentation was practised and some detail of the Clubs hosting the team were issued. Keith was just back from a knee replacement op and was looking in fine fettle.

ReplyDelete20th May. We are now on the countdown to our trip - just 1 week to go before we leave on the 27th. WE are starting off in Ontario and visiting various friends. Yesterday we got our currency - i was pretty chuffed at the rate - C$1.749 to the pound at "The Money Shop".
